TLX Silver
TLX Silver is an across-rafter multi-foil insulation that saves time and guarantees 0.18W/m2K. It’s a thin, flexible multi-foil for roof and wall applications. It works in combination with glass wool to reduce the total thickness of insulation needed and with rigid insulation to cut installation time.
A thin, flexible, multi-purpose insulation that is faster to fit than rigid insulation across rafters and need only 70mm of rigid insulation or glass wool to achieve 0.18 or 80mm to achieve 0.16. BBA certified and accepted by the NHBC, TLX Silver stops air leakage by providing an air-tight vapour barrier and restricting air movement in its multi-foil layers. It also allows for the construction of highly energy efficient walls.
The TLX Silver is suitable for 100 and 150mm rafter installations in new build, conversion and refurbishment projects including loft extensions (new build in a traditional roof) either over or under rafters depending upon needs.
The product is tough and lightweight, easy to handle in awkward spaces and is clean and hypoallergenic. The product can be laid across rafters and stapled into place in one go.
